Intel processors will accompany the new platform Kaby Lake with new SSD lines. According to the road map, published bu the source, almost simultaneously with the processors Kaby Lake Debuts SSD series Pro 6000 p and 600 p, mass-oriented user, and by the end of the year there will be already presented earlier high-speed SSD Optane.
Initially the top-end options Optane-family Mansion Beach will be presented, designed for connection to the PCIe 3.0x and supporting NVMe. About a month later, at the beginning of next year, will go SSD Brighton Beach is Optane with reduced performance, using only two bus lines PCIe 3.0.
Optane will be presented in the initial segment at the expense of Stony Beach lines provided by form factor M.2. The SSD will be released before all other Optane.
In a little more distant future Intel will introduce the upgrade of all the aforementioned lines, as well as the recently announced SSD 540s, Pro 5400S and E 5400S.
